I'm trying to install El Capitan on my Dell Precision T5500, but the installer won't detect the drives. Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0D883f Cpu: Intel Xeon E5540 @ 2.53Ghz It's apparently due to the system using a RAID controller, but I've seen success stories on tonymacx86 and insanelymac, I just can't replicate it. I've tried using the AHCIPortInjector and IOAHCIBlockStorage kexts to no avail. I've tried PCIRootUID=4, PCIRootUID=0, etc. I'm not sure what to do, the drives won't show up in disk utility no matter what. Others have had this problem but I can't figure out how they fixed it. Thanks.
