Ethernet no longer works after installing WiFi kext

So from the very start OS sierra recognized my Ethernet which was Aetheros 2400. But I installed my TP link pci express kext and the wifi works but now the Ethernet is no longer seen at all and Sierra keeps saying Ethernet does not exist.. what do I do? I'm trying to get iMessage to work since Ethernet is required
