I need hackintosh laptop to develop iOS apps in xcode. I won't be using the hackintosh for anything else (of course I'll be running windows and linux on it for everything else). Running Sierra is like a requirement for me.
Also, what kind of issues do laptops usually have with hackintosh?
Do trackpad, kb backlight, network adaptors, BT, USB controllers etc usually encounter issues? I've been running hackintosh on my home PC for 2 years. Now I need to buy a laptop and I need help from the community
I have selected a few laptops that will fit in my budget. Now I need to eliminate the ones that aren't compatible with hackintosh and pick the one that has the best compatibility with hackintosh. Please do also let me know if you have any other suggestions for a hackintosh compatible laptop. I need a laptop with 8 or more gigabytes of memory, 1TB HDD, Core i7 CPU(7th gen preferred), good GPU, good battery life, keyboard backlighting and durability.
Here are my choices
Asus FX553 FX553VD
Core i7-7700HQ
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2GB DDR5
I hear that it has a 'Realtek GBit LAN adapter'
Dell Inspiron 7567
- Core i7-7700HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or 1050Ti - 4GB GDDR5
Acer Aspire VX 15
Core i7-7700HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or 1050Ti
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC, 802.11ac/a/b/g/n wireless LAN
