Other than some horrors regarding the bootloader I think my hackintosh build went pretty successfully. I'm running Sierra and haven't had any serious, system-breaking glitches yet.
But there's one thing I still can't get working. Audio.
I have an SIIG SoundWave PCI audio card hooked up to a 4.1 sound system. There is zero information online as to getting SIIG cards working with macOS, at least as far as I can tell. All the posts and stuff I could find on google for audio in general referred almost exclusively to built-in audio chips on motherboards, specifically Realtek.
On Windows the card required the installation of a proprietary CMedia audio driver from SIIG's website to work. SIIG does not provide drivers for macOS.
So...what do I do? Do I just deal with not ever having audio? I've tried installing the 'generic' audio drivers from Multibeast but that didn't change anything. The os shows "No Output Devices Found" in the sound menu.
If it makes a difference my motherboard is a Gigabyte Z77-D3H and I'm running macOS Sierra version 10.12.6.
