I'd been considering building a hackintosh for my next computer build. My current custom computer is pushing 7 years old (it's running an i7 2600.) I've done some minor upgrades to it over the years, an SSD, and two graphics cards upgrades, but that's gotten me through the years pretty well.
This time around I was going to build a hackintosh so that I could get mac OS and windows on it and have the harmony of gaming and productivity. But now with the ability to use an eGPU, I'm wondering if it would be just as worth it to just get an iMac and run an eGPU that I could upgrade for gaming over the years.
What does the hackintosh community think?
