Kaby Lake + 1080 Ti + Samsung 960 EVO

Hey everyone!

Great to be here. I've done quite a lot of Hackintosh work back in the Z68 and Z77 days (things seemed to be quite a lot simpler back then, for the most part).

First of all, I would like to detail my specifications:

  • Phanteks Evolv ATX (Silver).
  • EVGA SuperNova G1 650W.
  • Asus Prime Z270-P Motherboard.
  • i7 7700K @4.2GHz w/Corsair H55 AIO Liquid Cooler.
  • 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum @2666MHz.
  • Samsung 960 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD.
  • EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition.
  • TP-Link T9E Wireless PCI card.

Currently, I am looking for clear information regarding my chipset, CPU, storage and potentially my GPU.

I have created my USB installer using a Virtual Machine and copied over someone's Clover files who had a similar setup (Asus Prime Z270-A, 7700K). However, I seriously can't understand the guide regarding getting the macOS installer to see my 960 EVO in disk utility. Firstly, I was wondering whether it would be possible for someone to upload their completed NVMe output so that I could just copy it to my installer USB drive. I believe this is the guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-hackrnvmefamily-co-existence-with-ionvmefamily-using-class-code-spoof.210316/

And secondly, I was wondering if there is anything else I should know?

Thank you all so much!
