Hi all,
Seems like I've run out of ideas... 10.12.5, on a Gigabyte z77-UD3H with an Ivy Bridge Core i5, nothing else plugged in. Getting a kernel panic whenever the 1050 is plugged in.
Upgraded to latest clover, did the change to its plist to include that little block of text about the webdriver, otherwise disabled all other graphics drivers (intel most notably), installed the nvidia driver & made sure that nvda_drv=1 or some such thing survives a reboot (either I have nvram or Clover's emulation is working, either way it's there), I can even set it as a boot parameter in Clover, and I'm still getting a panic: as if the driver had never been installed in the first place.
Next step tonight will be to boot with my intel graphics in vga mode or single user mode and check that nvidia's kext is indeed loaded. But I'm really out of ideas here, any help welcome - I'm sure I've missed something obvious as this is a pretty barebones setup.
Thanks for any help you can spare!
