MacOS Boot Sequence - Monitor Goes to Sleep

A fresh install of Sierra was working fine. After updating the SMBIOS info in the plist it won't boot correctly.

During the bootup, the screen goes blank and to sleep. If I boot from the clover on a USB drive I can boot MacOS from the hard drive just fine. What's going on here?
