I would like to build a hackintosh for my graphic designing and photo editing ventures. My base model Late 2013 13-inch rMBP is slowly showing its limitations (when designing, that is) and I was looking forward to making a more capable machine while sticking to my limited budget.
I was thinking I could swap out a few components to achieve a cheaper build but I don't know what to change and I am gonna need a bit of your help on this part of the process.
I read a few posts here discouraging liquid cooling especially when opting for a budget-friendly machine (I'm not really bothered by noisy fans, so there's that.)
I understand that Kaby Lake will work only when the CPUID is spoofed but I want to maximize the 'longevity' of the build so maybe going for a more recent chipset will do good? (Let me know your thoughts on this and the mobo as well.)
I really don't work with videos but because of the nature of my work, I might someday go for a higher-resolution monitor (1440p or 4k) but right now I'm good with the iGPU and a IPS 1080P display.
Uhmm here are the parts:

I'm excited with this, I cannot even imagine how huge of a jump I'm making from a 4 year old base model 13" rMBP to this build.
Thank you very much.
