Questions about Dual Booting

So I have begun the process of ordering parts for my Hackintosh, and up until yesterday I was going to build my system with MacOS for now, and maybe look into dual booting in the future, when I had some more money to spend on another SSD as well as the Windows 10 license, not a small amount of money. As a student, I was looking at the software offered by companies like Microsoft for free, and after some poking around, I managed to purchase a Windows 10 license for free from my schools web store! They literally give it away! Now, I don't know what to do, because there really isn't a lot holding me back from dual booting besides the SSD. The system I was building was going to consist of a Samsung 850 EVO 128GB SSD for MacOS, and a 1TB Seagate HDD for storage. The Samsung drives are really expensive, but I was willing to pay extra for the reliability and performance that comes with the name brand. Obviously I have heard that the best and most importantly, easiest way to dual boot is to have two separate drives, but I really don't want to spend $200 on two SSDs. Of course I can buy a 256GB SSD for $14 more, but dual booting from two separate partitions is supposed to be much less reliable. And lastly, the other option is to buy two less expensive SSDs to boot from. Can anybody walk me through what you think is the best option for me? Thanks!
