Okay, so long story short, I am setting up OpenDirectory in my home and ended up deleting my user account because I followed this article: http://robotcloud.screenstepslive.com/s/2459/m/5322/l/112415-convert-local-accounts-to-network-mobile-accounts
After I deleted that, I was unable to log out of my user (because I deleted my user profile while logged into that user). I'm an idiot, whatever. So I restarted my hack and booted into the recovery partition from clover. I have backups on my mac server that I tried to restore from. I was prompted a dialog box asking for username and password to unlock the time machine backups and the "Mac Server" (my admin server account) login information would not work whatsoever. This account is the primary account on the server, and is an admin. If I try to use a different network account (IP) it lists the available backups but I get the 110 error code failing to use the backup. So after I couldn't troubleshoot the time machine backups, I decided just to reinstall Sierra, then migrate my data from the backup drive once the install was finished. The install went fine, I got past the white screen with the loading bar that has the estimated time available. Took about 10 mins to complete that step. Then the computer rebooted, entered clover, and booted this option in clover (Boot macos Install):
After that booted it hits the black screen with the Apple logo as if it were booting. It hits the 3/4 area, then the spinning wheel shows up and the bar stops moving. I haven't tried any other solutions besides rebooting and trying to boot into the install again. Any help would be awesome!
Was there a problem with me reinstalling Sierra the way that I did? I am aware that this could take kexts out of my system/library/extensions folder, but I have backups of everything.
Are there any boot flags I can use that will help this finish the install?
Thanks again if you made it this far!
