I recently discovered that I don't have quicksync enabled (which is one of the main reasons for using FCPX other than I prefer the usability).
I followed this post: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-fixes-to-get-full-acceleration-on-intel-hd-graphics-in-imac-17-1.216447/page-6#post-1480854 but to no avail.
Bios is set to boot from the PCIe slot.
HW: i7-6700k Gigabyte Z170-UD3 EVGA 970 OC
Am I being a bit thick?
