I have a 7700K that's faked as a Skylake CPU. I'm running 10.12.6 and using a 17,1 iMac. Now that Kaby is supported natively, can I just removed the Fake CPU ID without changing my SMBIOS machine type? I don't really want to go through the rigamarole of getting iMessage to work again if I don't have to.
