Not directly related to the subreddit, but the best place I could think of to ask this.
I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro which i am incredibly happy with. I upgraded the RAM to 16gb and replaced the hard drive with a SSD a couple of months ago, and this made the Mac a dream to use.
I would now like to make further enhancements. I got a few ideas from ifixit, but not exactly what I want to do.
I want to upgrade the Bluetooth and wifi board to support ac wifi and Bluetooth 4.2. I am also considering replacing the optical drive with a second SSD and upgrading the screen to a higher resolution one.
Do anyone know where I could find such a wireless board, and do anyone have any tips or experiences in regards to what I could/should upgrade and what I need to be aware of?
