This is my first build (both PC or hackintosh) Everything is working well up to this point except my USB 3.0. I followed this guide to the letter and have a very similar build:
I used clover and made all the edits noted in both the bios and in the kexts. Detailed info below:
Asus X99 A II Motherboard i7 6950x 10 core
Currently I can plug any devices including USB 2.0 drives into any ports directly on the motherboard. USB 2.0 ports on the case also work as well. USB 3.0 drives work in any of the USB 2.0 ports, but at USB 2.0 speeds. USB 3.0 drives plugged into USB 3.0 ports turn on, but never mount and do not show up in disk utility or by running diskutil list in terminal. They do however show up as connected with their proper name in the Asus BIOS before booting into Sierra. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got everything else working properly, but have run myself in circles trying to figure out the USB fixes.
