vmware el capitan working but cant connect to the internet

i followed this guide https://techsviewer.com/how-to-install-mac-os-x-el-capitan-on-vmware-on-pc/ and have it working fine but the internet is not working. no option for wifi only ethernet which i cant use. thanks for any help specs i7 4790 16gb ram rx 580
