Can I even hackintosh? Need some pointers preparing a legacy installer.

I came into a Dell Vostro 230 -slim. Its has the GMA X4500 chipset, an e8400, and a GTX 970 (after upgrading the power-supply).

I created a vanilla Sierra Clover installer with these options.

Install Clover to ESP

Boot0ss

Clover EFI Sata

Drivers64: Anything with Mouse or Keyboard

Drivers64UEFI: EmuVariableUefi

Install RC Scripts on target volume

For the config.plist:

Tried using SMBIOS for iMac 10,1 also tried 14,2

The usual config.plist with only dart=0 npci=0x2000(with or without) and cpus=1 (with or without)

Only Fix_Shutdown, Halt Enabler, and the usual tables under ACPI

No ACPI patches and nothing for Kext patches. Enable nvidia web inject kexts etc etc.

For kexts I used the usual ones. The latest

FakeSMC, USBInjectall, NGFU, Lilu, AppleALC ( I didn't bother with an Ethernet kext at that point.

Anyway, I got this error when starting the install from the boot menu.

Please advise. have no idea if it is not Ivy through Coffee Lake. XD
