I recently (maybe 4 months ago) built my SO a PC so she could play some Windows games. However, her work relies on Mac OS, and, since she doesn't game that frequently, I thought I could convert her Windows machine into a dual boot Mac/Windows system so she can work from home on something better than an older Macbook. There's no video editing or rendering, mainly just lighter photo editing and programs that run more smoothly in a Mac environment.
I'm very, very new to the whole Hackintosh realm, but, from what I gather, hardware compatibility with Mac seems to be the main issue in getting a system going. So, if anyone can give me an idea of which OS would work for her system and if making a two HDD dual-boot system is feasible, I'd really appreciate it!
System specs:
- CPU: i5-2500S
- GPU: GTX 760 Asus OEM (pulled from an older prebuilt I upgraded)
- Board: MSI H61M-E23 (B3) mATX
- RAM: Patriot Viper 2x4GB DDR3-1600
- OS: Windows 10 Pro (unauthenticated)
