I recently received my new HDD (Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM) and I was thinking about leaving about 300GB of unallocated space to play around with a hackintosh installation. I may end up expanding it in the future, but since, at the moment, I'm a little uncomfortable with setting up and maintaining the hackintosh system I thought it would be fine if I just left it a little room on my HDD.
Anyways, my question is, can I first partition the HDD as NTFS for Windows 10 storage and still be able to work with the 300GB of unallocated space later? Or would I have to first do the partition and before moving any files onto my HDD, go through the hackintosh installation?
Thanks!
