So I've been trying to update my Yosemite build to High Sierra.
So first, I tried updating my Yosemite SSD using this guide. I got to step 5 and the Clover won't boot after it restarted. I haven't been able to access that drive since.
So I got another SSD and did a fresh install using this guide. I followed all the instructions to the tee. I got past Step 4 and it rebooted. When I try to access "Boot macOS", it shows the black Apple logo load screen. Once it's done loading, the screen goes black and it restarts. And that's where I'm stuck.
I built this Mac in 2012 and have successful installed stable builds of Snow Leopard, Lion, Mavericks and Yosemite. Here are my parts:
- Intel Core i7-2600K Processor Sandy Bridge
- GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
- GIGABYTE ATI Radeon HD6870
- Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB
What can I do? I got a 15" MBP too btw.
