I followed the McDonnelltech guide reasonably successfully, and have used the resulting hackintosh X220 as my daily driver for the past few months. I figured I'd see if I could get an EGPU setup going, so I bought this adapter and hooked it up with this graphics card I had. I powered it on with everything connected, and macOS recognized the card right away, giving me an icon in the upper right that when clicked has options to "Power off card" under either Multimedia Device or Display Controller. But, when I installed the latest Nvidia drivers and restarted, a kernel panic happened a little over halfway through the startup progress bar. I tried googling around but there are so few hackintosh and EGPU setups, and this script doesn't work because the GPU is over expresscard and so does not get recognized. Anyone done this successfully or have any tips? Thanks!
