Going to get a new 14 inch Dell Inspiron, with no dGPU and 4 (or maybe 8) gigs of RAM. Going with an i3 processor, cuz it's cost effective and does everything I need it to do. Can't decide on whether to buy a Skylake i3 or a Kaby Lake i3. Looking around in my country's Amazon, I can't really find Skylake i3s anymore, and if I do order a Skylake, peoole are telling me that chances are that I may actually get Kaby Lake. So, it's easier to get my hands on a Kaby Lake, than a Skylake.
Since Skylake has been around for longer period than Kaby Lake, I'm assuming that support for Skylake is better than its successor.
Then there's this issue, where people are having trouble with sleep when using anything lower than Intel HD 630 Graphics. And sleep is something, that I can't ignore. I need sleep functioning properly. I feel like I must add here, that I had sleep working fine on my previous hackintosh laptop, that was rocking an Haswell i3 processor, and Intel HD 4400 Graphics, so I don't know if this is actually going to be a problem or not.
