So without thinking today, I tried to install Windows 7 on my system (running Sierra) with Bootcamp. Everything was going okay, it partitioned the volume, then it restarted the computer. After restart, I had the Windows boot flash drive plugged in. No dice. All I got was a black screen with a blinking cursor. I took out the flash drive and restarted. This time it gives me this message:
"Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"
No matter which drive I select at boot, it gives me the same message. I have tried troubleshooting and searching for answers online with no luck. So I want to reach out to y'all. Is this an easy fix and I'm missing something? I'd appreciate a hand because I'm getting frustrated with this same screen! Thanks!
