Occasional audio stutter with Focusrite 18i20 v2 audio interface (music production build)

Hi there, i posted this also on the tonymac forums. I don't really want to use multibeast or anything though.

I just finished building my first hack! Its for music production (Logic X) and is an upgrade from my iMac 27. Specs are as follows

Intel 8700k Asrock z370 Pro 4 Mobo 16GB Ram Samsung 960 M.2 drive (APFS) Palit GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Bequiet fans etc.

High Sierra

Focusrite 18i20 v2 Audio interface

Everything went really smoothly in the end. I used a guide from Hackintosher, he wrote one on z370 Asrock mobo and i used that. Therefore i'm using Clover.

Only problem is that when playing tracks on Spotify/youtube i sometimes notice few millesecond cut out, and have noticed a couple of crackles too. I'm not sure if this is just playback or recording too, i will test a long recording and see if i get any clicks. I'll also install a windows partition on another drive and see if i have the same problems there. Unfortunately I don't have another brand modern USB interface to test with to see if its the Focusrite itself...

Anyone have any ideas how to go about debugging this? Its a hard error to re-produce as it doesn't seem related to CPU load. I've tried unplugging all other USB devices (other than keyboard/mouse) and i've tried various other USB ports on my mobo. I've also tried using injectallUSB kext and that didn't seem to make any difference either.

Any help is hugely appreciated! I will keep the thread updated with my findings to try and track down whats going on.

Thanks!
