Problem:
My system has been stable for months now, so I decided to mess it all up and upgrade my video card. I went out and purchased an Nvidia GF GTX 1050 Ti and installed it. Got all the drivers installed (turned off system protection, installed drivers, ensured everything was set with clover) and rebooted.
Everything works fine, except for RANDOM CRASHES. What I mean is, I will just be browsing the web, or working in photoshop, or have terminal + sublime text open, and it'll just crash. I don't really game that much or anything so I really doubt it's a heat issue or anything.
It's very weird, and I'm not sure how to check the logs, as when I boot with the '-v' flag, nothing pops on the screen. I'll just be working away, then black screen, then I'm at the bios.
I've read countless threads, forum posts, blog posts etc, but nothing seems to be this exact issue (mainly bootloops, not just random crashes). The computer doesn't freeze or anything, it just blackscreen reboots right back to clover. I can't reproduce it manualy myself, it's seemingly completely random.

I've also tried 10.13.1, and the other two(?) versions of 10.13.2 over the past weeks, and all have the issue
