i recently found out that Final Cut Pro 7 is better than its successor, FCPX (do correct me if that was fake news). i also want to use stable Aperture and try out the skeuomorphic UI of the old Aqua desktop.
i currently have a kaby lake laptop running stable High Sierra, pretty happy with it other than the fact that old apps aren't optimised for HS. so yes, i have an Optiplex 330 lying around, that has C2D E7200 and 3GB RAM.
i'll just be editing basic 720 24p videos with simple effects, so i guess 3GB RAM should suffice for Lion/ML. i just need an advice on which GPU to get. AMD/Nvidia doesn't matter, just need one that is cheap and consumes low power and fully works in Lion/ML.
