So I've been trying to install MacOS on my HP Elite. I keep getting an error before the installer boots. I feel like Ive tried everything, but I don't want to give up. I've tried following like 20 different guides and used both the included EFI folders from the guides as well as starting from scratch. I've also tried cover and opencore. Below are the error codes I get and a copy of the HP Elite's specs. please help me, I installed it on a Ryzentosh, but after a few minutes of using it it simply restarts or freezes. This happens quite randomly, there are days when it stays on for about 1 hour and then this happens. I can't solve this problem, I also did the HPET injection. help me please. Hello! Like the title says, my laptop has no OS installed; I was trying to uninstall Linux (followed all steps from an online guide) and it uninstalled Windows too… I’m primarily a Mac person, so I’m not sure how to solve this. Anyways, I went to a computer repair shop and they want $195 to reinstall Windows + drivers and updates, but the issue is, this computer only cost me $250. It’s a backup computer so it’s not urgent, but I also don’t wanna pay that to reinstall Windows. Hello everybody, this is my first attempt at a hackintosh with an old HP Elitebook 8470p (Intel Core i5 3320M). I'm following the guide on https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ to install but i feel like i am missing something? I have a haswell hp elitedesk 800 g1 usdt, which i read over and over can run monterey well but i get to the apple loading screen, and about a quarter of the way and i can’t figure the rest out. Its been a couple weeks now so im reaching out for help again, because you guys are great! I’m guessing the problem is in my EFI folder so I’m placing a link to the folder and I put it in the Google Drive if anyone has some time to take a look at it, I would really appreciate it as I’m pretty much stuck. Hey, its my first time that I am doing hackintosh. I was manage to dual bot sonoma on my Dell laptop, but it says I have only 7mb graphics. I tried everything, but still, I only get 7mb graphics. So I have a 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar I'd love to put Sonoma on but am honestly so confused on how todo it. Obviously at first the process is simple. Create a USB using the Mac's original SMBIOS within the patcher app and Sonoma but here is where the problem lies - When I install Sonoma I get no TouchBar or Touch ID. Weirdly, I do get a little esc button on the TouchBar in the MacOS Basesystem recovery thingy majig for Sonoma but that's about it, nothing after that. I have set up my Hack with MacOS Big Sur and it mostly works fine. But I can't manage to boot without the usb. It wouldn't boot using the drive the system is installed. I've already copied the existing folder from the USB to the existing folder in macOS but it still doesn't work. Could it be a problem with the bios settings? So I had installed Monterey on my Hackbook and was running it with an intel Wifi card. Handoff was half working and messages used to sync pretty quickly and almost always. So whenever I got a text on my iPhone, I used to get it almost at the same time on my laptop. Now, I swapped the intel card with a BCM94360CS2 card and everything works perfectly except messages and phone calls. 90% of the time the messages simply dont arrive on my hack and almost all the time whenever I get a call on my phone, it wont show up on my hack I am able to transfer calls to the hack once I pickup from my phone and iMessage does work. Hello, anyone solved the problems of audio glitches on Sonoma with Opencore with devices over usb? I have a usb digital mixer Bheringer x32 ch, and if I simple listen a file no problems, but every time I try a professional audio application there are a lot of glitches... only I can set the audio buffer like to 1024 to avoid glitches .. with the normal high Sierra no problems.. and I work with normal 128buffer or 64ms. Hey everyone, I currently have a HP pavilion dk0056wm, and I decided to upgrade from Monterey to Sonoma. Everything was fine up until the first restart of the system, where boot args were going for about thirty seconds and then nothing for 2 minutes then a restart (in safe mode) to desktop. Problem is without safe mode I just get a black screen. So for some time i wanted it to have. a mac laptop but they are way to expensive, So yes I went the Hackintosh way. Now I have sonoma installed on my hp notebook 15-dyxx, all seems fine to know. I used OpenCore following the dortania´s guide to create the EFI and a Sonoma offline installer obtained from a real MacBook. I had to use a different SMBIOS to install it (MacBookPro15,2 instead of MacBookPro9,2) because the installer said this Mac was not supported. After a successfull install, I changed the SMBIOS again and added the boot arg -no_compat_check (to enable CPU power management). I also had to use OCLP to patch the graphics card since the h4000 isn't supported in Sonoma. Hello guys I tried to install MacOS Sonoma on my Lenovo C640. However the installer doesn't boot. It freezes when the loading bar is at about half full. I already installed MacOS on VMware and also on Proxmox and i had a similar issue on Proxmox i think. It also stopped at about half and i realized i used the wrong OSK (with spaces and no (C)AppleInc). After editing the info in my vm.conf it worked flawlessly. So my question is how and where do i need to put the OSK? Sorry i'm quite new to hackintosh and i couldn't really find any adequate info online (googled for about 30 minutes). Is it even necessary? Sonoma on this rig seemed impossible, but well turns out it isn't.
