Hi everyone, I recently installed macOS Sequoia on my iMac 5K (Late 2015) using the latest version of OpenCore Legacy Patcher (I believe it’s 2.2). Everything seems to be working fine except for one major issue—I can’t sign into iCloud or the App Store with my Apple ID. I’ve tried: • Restarting and reattempting the login • Signing out and back into iCloud in System. • Verifying my Apple ID credentials (they work fine on other devices) • Checking my network connection Has anyone else faced this issue? I’ve been running Sonoma via OCLP for about a month now and up until yesterday it ran smoothly. When I turned my computer on yesterday I noticed my wall paper had disappeared and the bottom bar icons were bigger. When I try and open chrome it immediately sends me back to log in. I installed sequoia on my T420 i5 2520m evm ssd 8gb ddr3 ram , the boot time is horrendous and the overall experience is very bad, did I do something wrong or is this expected ? Apologies if this has already been discussed at length, but i'm new here. So just upgraded my 2013 Mac Pro from Monterey to Sonoma through OCL 2.2 and everything works fine, all apart from Chrome which has a red browser and virtually locks up the desktop. After some restarts and running the extra plug ins needed through OCL then Chrome seemed to work fine yesterday, however today we're back with the red browser again. My MBP is stuck on Big Sur because it has a 3rd party AFTERMARKET Samsung SSD. When I try to upgrade to Monterey via Apple Software Update it won't let me. Just curious if anyone has this setup and what OS they'd recommend. I'm hoping not to root patch or do anything super technical. Really struggling to get this beyond Catalina :-( I’ve done quite a few OC installs on other devices with no problems… This one refuses to boot to the Ventura or Sequoia OC 2.2 USB Installer built and blessed. My boot time is faster but now the login screen has a loading bar that show up after i put my password and the login screen doesnt seems to look like from MacOS sonoma where in sonoma you should have big clock but the clock never appear, only big profile picture of my account with password box. Hi There! just oclp'ed a 15 inch pro 2016 ( 13.3 model) . had some issue when installing but eventually all went good. now i'm here almost throwing this laptop out of a window lol . basically i have some major issue with pref panel. more specifically with " location" and Time . basically by clicking from general pref panel most of the times this two does not open ( meanwhile all the others yes) or they do with like a minute lag. plus. the toggle for location work 1 in 10/12 try. sometimes it go blu w/o prompting a password. but the if you go back it says "location :no", or sometimes it ask for a pass but with no different result. time and date panel behave kinda similar. i just want to have my zone time ffs!! if i try to set the time with current location on ( in date and time panel) pop up says location is off oper privacy setting and if i click it freeze. Refurbished an iMac 27” Intel i5 with a 1TB SSD and 32GB. The machine could only run as far as Catalina but with OCLP got it to Ventura, Windows 11 and Bootcamp! Running like a new! Ive been at this for 3ish hours now and followed all the steps. Idk why but whenever I open the open core legacy patcher it says “installing additional components” im still stuck at 2.0.1 when it finished loading. After that the pop up to “update” to 2.2.0 when i already followed the steps. I wanted to update it to basically stop the popups everytime I boot my computer. Now with my 2015 macbook pro that isnt spoofed anymore AND im on the same patch. Sidenote once “updated” my laptop it reverted my spoof and cant use my iPad anymore with it. So i then ended up trying to spoof my laptop again to get universal control feature to work but every time I try to spoof it two EFI during the boot control shows up. One that when I try to boot it on wont let me because it needed apple support and the other lets me boot up but the laptop isnt spoofed. I really only use the one feature on OpenCore and thats to spoof to get universal control and that doesnt even work. Im in a rut and I hope yall can ...

I keep having this issue I got opencore installed on flash drive / hard drive, it’ll go through act like it’s about to complete and either restart or freeze I’m currently on 10.15 Catalina and I’m trying to use OBS or Streamlabs so that I can stream my ps5 gameplay to the laptop using rtmp/dns server and then it goes to Twitch without need of a capture card, unfortunately nothing is really supported on Catalina anymore and I’m trying to upgrade to Monterey Mid 2012, 13” 8gb ram , dual 3.5 ghz processor It’ll go through the set up process and restart or freeze at about 1 minute remaining, I got the security off I’ve installed kali on flash drive but I was trying to set up dual boot for windows a while back to be able to use exe simply and it wouldn’t let me, honestly half the time it’s slow and junky I know I need new computer just trying to see if it’s worth hosting this free lightstream alternative server or if I’ll need a vps, is there a certain way I can pull the logs to get more ...

Hello! i upgraded my 2015 Macbook Pro to Sequoia last december and it’s been working perfectly fine until recently. Last week, my Mac apparently died with only 54% battery and after I had plugged it in, it’s been extremely laggy. Trying to minimalise or maximise a finder window takes at least 15 seconds with it lagging HORRENDOUSLY. It’s become pretty much unusable. I have it dualbooted with windows 10 via Bootcamp assistant and it works flawlessly on there, no lag whatsoever. Initially, I thought it had been infected with a virus, but after doing a full system scan with Malwarebytes, it came back empty.
