I have tried several different options when using clover to make the USB, and each time I do try and boot into the USB to my computer, the process goes fine, but then around 10-15 seconds in to the boot up process, right before I get the choice of boot locations (it came up once, but immediately rebooted again) it reboots, and gives me the MSI logo. I have tried to change all the right settings in the BIOS, but I must be missing something. Hi, Caracteristics : Motherboard ASUS B85-PLUS RAM 16Gb CPU Intel i5-4670 GPU NVidia GTX 970 Monitor HDMI or VGA Vanilla Installation (almost successful) MacOS 10.13.6 build 17G65 ​ The driver installs successfully, I check the NvidiaWeb under System Parameters using Clover configurator, reboot and it get stucks on black screen. I can reboot under the default driver. My SMBIOS is set to iMac14,2, I did the install trick with the CsrActiveConfig to 0x00 then putting it to 0x67. In drivers64UEFI I have what recommanded by the Vanilla config relevant ones are OsxAptioFix3drv, EmuVariableUefi. For the kexts, in other folder got Lilu and whatevergreen. So, this is a unusual post... I have fried my MacBook Pro 2014 EFI chip by accidentally booting with Clover a couple of years back, and I was lucky enough that it was still under warranty so Apple would replace the motherboard (it was ChimeLooping) ​ I'm experiencing issues with graphics on my 2016 MacBook Pro w/TouchBar that is only occurring in games but since the Geniuses cannot actually witness it in store, they don't want to change the logic board. So I'm looking for a simple way to fry the motherboard like it happened with my 2014 MBP, but I booted many many times with an old version of Clover on it, but it keeps on working. Hello everyone! So, I’ve built my first ever computer (yay) and Hackintoshed it. Everything went smoothly. BUT, I’ve noticed that the system is little bit unresponsive. Opening programs is slow and sometimes right clicking is enough for the system to hang for a couple seconds. I DO know that some of that performance drop is due to using a HardDrive disk, but I don’t know if that explains the overall sluggishness of the system. Do you guys have any suggestions? Will a SSD upgrade fix this issues? I was super anxious about macOS on it, so I took the first HD I found and I staled it. Also, I am planning on buying a EVO 970. But if there is any configuration that should help me, I am all ears. Here is my config: 9900K Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Ultra 16GB RAM @ 3000MHz HDD 1TB @ 5200 rpm (yes, really slow. I’m looking at buying a NAS device and I was wondering if it was possible to run MacOS in a VM for use as an iTunes server. Or if I should just buy a NAS and a used MacMini. Hi everyone, I recently bought the A6210 Wifi USB adapter from Netgear. It works OOTB with Windows. I really would like to get it to work with my High Sierra hackintosh. I made some research and tried to install the drivers from here (MT7612U is the chipset used by the A6210), the install did not show any errors and asked to restart, but unfortunately, this did not work, the adapter is not detected. I also posted this to tonymacx86, but I waited an hour and no response. Hello. I'm new to Hackintosh and I wanted to hackintosh my own laptop. I bought a SanDisk 64GB drive and correctly created install media. I used a guide by Hackintosher (here) and used their EFI folder. When I first booted up the installer everything was correct, but my keyboard didn't work so I went back and installed VoodooPS2 kext. Hey everyone, I want to use VirtualSMC instead of FakeSMC for AsusSMC plugin. I’m using macOS 10.12.6 but when I installed VirtualSMC in /L/E while FakeSMC was already installed in there then it freezed and rebooted and got KP. So, my question is Should I first remove FakeSMC and then install VirtualSMC or it’s fine to have both and my installation might have crashed due to some other issue? OR, I should leave FakeSMC in /L/E and install VirtualSMC in Clover/kexts/others. Will then my VirtualSMC plugin work if installed in /L/E. But because FakeSMC in installed in /L/E Clover doesn’t seem to load kexts from “other” folder. Google has accidentally leaked an upcoming 10-inch smart display called the Nest Hub Max. The device was spotted on Google Store's Connected Home page by Android Police. According to the Store, The Nest Hub Max will have a 10-inch HD screen, much larger than the regular Home Hub. It also has a built-in Nest camera with all the standard surveillance capabilities of the standalone device. You can use the camera to make Duo calls, too. The current Home Hub doesn't have a camera, so it's audio-only for Duo. The small Home Hub has a mediocre speaker, but Google promises stereo speakers on the Nest Hub Max.
