At first it seemed to be hanging at the iGPU initialization, so I disabled the iGPU. Still no luck, second screenshot is where it hangs with that disabled.

System is an i7-8700k on an Asrock Z370 Taichi board, RX580 video card, Intel 660 NVME drive. Has been working a treat up to the 10.14.4 update. Saw posts saying it "just worked" so I updated. Vanilla install.
