can i use two hard drives, one with mac and the other with windows on one pc?

hello all, i am in need of some answers, i was wondering if somehow it is possible to load mac os into a hdd that previously had windows and for example have two separate hard drives and when i want to use mac put in the mac os hard drive into my pc and when i want to use windows os, change the mac os hdd out for the windows one? is this possible ? do it all in one pc ? (i use pc btw)
