Can I swap graphics cards without changing any settings?

Currently have a GTX 1070 and want to swap for a 1080. Would I have to do anything additional to make sure it still works in the Hackintosh? Or would it just be a straight swap with no further configuration required. Right now my 1070 works beautifully on my Hackintosh.
