Hi there, everyone! I've been planning my first Hackintosh (and PC) build for the past couple of months, reading up on the TonyMacx86 forums, and consulting with a few friends who have already successfully built their systems.
My aim here is to create a desktop that dual-boots OS X and Windows -- OS X for programming and productivity, and Windows for gaming and light video editing (the program I use for montages is Windows-only). I'm hoping I can get both operating systems to share the 4TB HDD (though I've heard mixed things about that), and have each OS on its individual SSD. Coming from a pre-built HP Envy Phoenix on an SSD/HDD combo for the last four years, I'm itching to finally build my own system. (I'm considering not reinstalling Windows and just keeping it as Windows SSD, but I have a feeling swapping motherboards will cause Windows to get annoyed...)
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
