I have a mid-2010 iMac that I upgraded with an SSD last year. The screen/logic board/something is starting to fail. Is it possible to use the hard drive that's in there as a basis for a new build without the extra steps to install Sierra? Kind of the opposite of a clean install? Just exploring my options.
