This is a very strange thing, never happened to me before. I accidentally noticed that my laptop wakes up by itself after I put it to sleep. Not instantly, but after few hours. I hear the fan and see the LEDs, but the screen is off and it doesn't react to any keypresses. After a minute or two it turns off, and the next morning I can get it from sleep as usual. I wonder, what the hell is this? Is it some kind of standard Apple maintenance procedure or I'm being hacked? Maybe my hackintosh is malfunctioning? I have no idea what's going on.
