"Converting" Legacy Ubuntu install to UEFI

Hi all!

I'm trying to install OS X alongside Ubuntu on my Lenovo T450, primarily so that I can run Lightroom. I've found a couple of guides (such as this one), but they all assume that the operating system you already have installed is booting with UEFI.

It seems that when I installed Ubuntu, I for some reason installed it in such a way that it boots using Legacy mode (so I have no EFI System Partition). Is there any way to "convert" my Legacy Ubuntu install so that it uses UEFI? I searched and found a similar question for windows, but nothing for Linux.

Thanks so much!
