So I've been having a really weird issue with VoodooHDA. I've tried using ALC, both installing the kext and manually setting the layout ID, and using the script, both to no avail, so Voodoo is my only solution right now.
The issue comes about when I'm watching YouTube. iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Twitch, all work fine. But I will get occasional cracking and popping on YouTube videos. This won't happen on the older versions of Voodoo, but the issue is that they can't recover from sleep, whereas the newest version(2.9d10), works just fine from sleep.
This issue only started happening in High Sierra as well; Sierra worked fine with Voodoo 2.8.8 and sleep, however, I do recall 2.9d10 having an issue with popping as well in Sierra.
Anyone ever seen this issue before? It's driving me mad.
