Hey everyone,
It was suggested I post here due to the incredible work you guys have done.
So I have a small problem getting my MacOS Sierra VM recognizing my ATI card. Passthrough is set up, and the card is detected by the system:
Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x32 Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x679a Revision ID: 0x0000
However when I plug a monitor into the card, there's no signal. I tried to reboot the VM between each port, to no avail.
So next I checked if the kernel module were loaded, which they are, but aren't being used:
$ kextstat |grep AMD

Specs:
Card: Sapphire 7950
Mobo: S1200V3RPS
CPU: E3-1231v3
RAM: 32GB DDR3 ECC
I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious? Do I need special firmware for the video card? How does one get a working 7950 in hackintosh, does it work out of the box?
Thanks!
