Intel Core i3 8100 3.6 GHz Quad Core??

Has anyone had success with the Intel Core i3 8100 3.6 GHz Quad Core?

It looks like it has very good performance for the dollar.

I did this build but haven’t picked a GPU yet.

I’ve never done a build before but just had my MBP stolen and need something to replace it. I figured building a desktop is much more cost effective to get something powerful to replace my computer.

Any advice is more than welcome and absolutely appreciated. (Even if you think it’s obvious, I’ve never built any PC before so, you get the idea)
