Tried to fix audio with toleda script; now can't boot. Help!

I just upgraded to 10.12. Now trying to get Audio to work.

I tried the script over at https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC ... and now my box crashes and reboots after the Clover screen.

I think I messed something up copying the 'original' AppleHDA.kext into S/L/E ... and by tweaking around in config.plist

What do I do now? I forgot all about debugging in Clover (flags, etc.) ... do I boot into safe mode or something?

My mobo is an old GA-X58A-UD3R.

(I've been told I'm better off just using an offboard USB DAC, but I need to get this working today.)
