Hello all!
To preface, this is all with Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5.
I've got my hack up and running and everything except wifi seems to be working. I followed this guide for the E7440 and it worked fine. I've installed a BCM943224HMS wifi card (which I can confirm works when booting a live Ubuntu disk, so no BIOS whitelist).
It looks like the card isn't being seen by Mac OS, since in System Information, it says that I have no PCI devices attached. I've also tried RehabMan's FakePCIID patch along with the FakeBroadcom patch to no avail. I've installed them to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other and /S/L/E and I've got nothing.
This is my third hack, but I've never done real deep troubleshooting, so any pointers would be very helpful.
