Any way to abort a downloaded Software Update?

I hit "Update" on "Security Update 2017-002 10.12.6" (on Sierra) from App Store Updates and now it says "Restart."

Then someone told me I'm better off not installing this (it caused lots of issues for them.)

So now App Store says 'restart' ... but I haven't restarted yet ... is there any way to undo the update?
