I think I've damaged my mi notebook pro.

So I installed OSX 10.13 as per this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-wip-xiaomi-mi-notebook-pro-high-sierra-10-13-2.242724

But for some reason, the sound coming through the headphones were crap. So I went into the config.plist, to change the layout id (appleALC 298 kext) I found an id that worked with headphones but not the internal speakers (id: 29), so I tried the next one (id: 47). The device booted as normal. Launched iTunes to play some songs, it crashed and gave an error (its always been doing this, I assume it's because I haven't signed in to apple ID). I play a song, no audio from the speakers, I plug in my headphones, no audio. Well I think to myself, let's try the next one.

So I launch clover configurator, so I can mount the efi and manually edit config.plist, that's when my screen goes dark. Keyboard back-light is on, I close the lid, re-open. Screen is off, back light is on.

I hold down the power button, it doesn't go off until after 15~20 seconds. And now it won't turn on. I'm seriously panicking, I just got this laptop last week Friday. After waiting 2 weeks for it. I don't want to believe it's damaged, please help.
