Looking for adapter to fit a mac wifi card into a standard m.2 slot? (aka please help to fix my fuckup)

Gigabyte GA-150N Phoenix i3-6100 8GB ram 256GB SSD Samsung Evo 850 OSX and Windows 10 up and running.

So I made a bit of a mistake. I've just assembled my mini-ITX hackintosh rig and got OSX and windows 10 both running off the SSD. All is good.

This is going to go behind the TV so next step is to get bluetooth and wifi working so that I can use it with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and also get it online without needing an ethernet wire. Naturally the on-board wifi doesn't work with OSX. Do some research, answer seems simple, get an iMac card and an adapter and replace the on-board wifi card. Purchased:

Both bits arrive quickly. Great, let's install them. I poke at my motherboard hoping to get the wifi cover off. Ah. What I thought was the wifi is actually a cover over the northbridge or something. My board has no on-board wifi. Fuck.

I do have a m.2 slot available under the board, but it is keyed for SSDs. The m.2 adapter I have is only for fitting into wifi m.2 slots with A/E keys, and won't fit into the m.2 SSD slot. (yes this is confusing.)

Can I buy something else to get the mac card slotted into the m.2 SSD slot?

This is a cheap mini-ITX build so I'm hoping to keep it small and inexpensive. There's a single PCIE slot available but I'd like to keep that free for a future graphics card. There's also various USB ports available but the good hackintosh dongles seem expensive and poorly reliable.
