Hi guys! Here's my situation and why I'm interested in building a hackintosh. I am a graphic designer / mac nerd. But I have been getting tired of buying a new mac every 2-3 years because of the programs I use for design are getting slower on older machines. My main question is, if I build a hackintosh, will it be easier to upgrade parts as needed rather than spending the money buying new laptops/iMacs every few years?
If so, I really need some advice on my parts list. I have been looking at the tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide. My biggest struggle has been finding a video card that will work great, but isn't crazy expensive because of crypto miners. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good video card for what I need to do that won't cost $300+ ?
This would be my first Hackintosh build. I have built a gaming PC before, for my brother.
thanks in advance for your input!
