HELP: High Sierra hackintosh

Preface: my new employer gives out MacBook pros. Great, except they suck when it comes to real dev work. The USB-C ports are ridiculously restrictive and I can't connect my two 27" displays to the laptop without buying a several hundred dollar dock...

So, I want to run a second hard drive on my workstation PC that will run high sierra. So far I've gotten the high sierra image onto a bootable USB, I can boot using the clover bootloader. However, the kernel panics shortly before the actual installer starts.

Any ideas? My PC components are as follows:

  • ASRock z97 extreme6 motherboard
  • gtx 960 graphics card
  • i5 4690k (lga1150)

EDIT: I've already set 'nv_disable=1', 'nv_drv=1' in different combinations.

Any help is appreciated. Working on just this laptop makes me wanna blow my brains out. God damn new hipster companies!
