Can I do it this way?

Hi folks,

Rather than buy a whole new rig of compatible components to run macOS, would it be possible do so with the following:

1) Buying a new hard drive and installing macOS to boot from so I can dual boot windows (I'd like Ubuntu also in the future maybe). Windows would remain on its current drive.

2) Keeping all my current system components; I've had a brief look and it seems like what I have is quite compatible anyway, but I'll leave it to the experts here! My system is the following:

Intel Prime Z270-k (1151 socket)

Skylake i7 7700k

Radeon R9 390 (not sure about this )

Corsair Vengeance 32Gb

Would this be achievable? Or do I need to get a separate rig!
