Convert to Hackintosh

Hi guys.

I read a lot for the last few months but never thought i will have to switch to apple environment.

My issue is as follows:

For a few good years i did / am still doing Android development and Ubuntu / Windows did good for me, not needing to switch to MacOS. As a laptop i am using a Dell XPS 9560 (I7, 32GB Ram).

Recently, i received a new project at work, and i need to start developing for iPhones too, and soon for MacOS as well, so this requires me to change platform. I enjoy my Dell XPS as well my desktop and i am not sure if replacing the XPS with a MacBook Pro will help, as i heard the I9 has issues with thermals and is not performing as good as the XPS. The computer i am running has the following specs:

MOBO: Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming

CPU: Ryzen 7 - 2700X

RAM: 32GB - ADATA 3000 Mhz

VIDEO: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB

STORAGE: 2 Samsung SSD - 840 and 860 EVO and 4 HDD (for files)

I know there are tutorials, but never knew which one is the best (or easier) to follow. What i did get is that i need to be running Vanilla for better compatibility and easier upgrade in the future. I know as well that i am right on the opposite side of a usual build, as i would need Intel and AMD Graphics.

I was thinking of keeping the current OS (dualboot Windows and Ubuntu - 860 Evo) and installing MacOS on the 840. I have a old Mac Mini 2012 that i can use to build the stick, so that's not an issue.

Over and out,

Mike
