Upgrading a 2012 El Cap Hackintosh to Mojave on a new drive. Do I just copy my EFI folder to Mojave drive version?

I’m keen on upgrading my El Cap Hackintosh I built way back to Mojave.

Once I’ve installed Mojave on the new SSD, is it a matter of copying the current stable EFI folder from my El Cap Hackintosh to the new place on the Mojave drive?

Will this ensure all drivers and compatible files work with my hardware and Mojave?
