I have Mojave with Nvidia GT 1030 and no hardware acceleration, and there are a lot of lags with interfaces and text input. Also windowServer load CPU up to 100%.
Today, I have installed High Sierra with Nvidia web driver. Here the windowServer process nearly free of CPU load.
The lack of hardware acceleration on Mojave is a reason to very high CPU consumption of windowServer process? Any hints to fix it?
